Love gusto eating kids, you are so right!

Yeah, I have a feeling there will be plenty of time and worry for body image in the day ahead. For both of us, it is just a mom thing, I guess. erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15413720402653482251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7010305964851899304.post-91794019509006534252013-04-15T09:37:20.056-04:002013-04-15T09:37:20.056-04:00You are total genius!

Plus, having support from people who love us as we go through all that personal growth. :)

She could teach anyone to love food; let's set it up! :)erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15413720402653482251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7010305964851899304.post-38311900266270288562013-04-15T09:35:58.483-04:002013-04-15T09:35:58.483-04:00Solid advice, Mom. It's a tangible way of knowing your child is going to survive. Which is why, recently, I've taken to feeding Katie "kid-friendly" (read: not-so-healthy) foods way more often than I should. Watching her enjoy her food and feed herself with gusto is just too wonderful to resist.

You made some really excellent points about the awfulness of our beauty-centric society, as well as the fact that women bear the brunt of most of it. But let's worry about body image later. Like you said, Super Baby is growing furiously right now. Pork chop legs are totally appropriate! Not to mention squeezable! :)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09049821842193359313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7010305964851899304.post-72651306961030833392013-04-12T12:55:53.967-04:002013-04-12T12:55:53.967-04:00Now you make me blush :) I'm FAR from being a ...Now you make me blush :) I'm FAR from being a genius. But I just loved your last paragraph. I actually was on the other side of spectrum - I was too skinny, and got my fair share of teasing for being who I was. But, honestly, it was all just a little piece of puzzle to shape me into who I am today - somebody who loves life!! And your daughter is absolutely adorable. I wish she would come over and teach my Toddler who to eat and love food!! :) Lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16064081200654561079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7010305964851899304.post-36638088770863509772013-04-12T08:35:56.719-04:002013-04-12T08:35:56.719-04:00She is the sweetest little girl.
